Follies Fairfax Theatre reviews
DREAM T & IRON M
"Overall, a good show. The opening band could have played a lot longer, but it seemed to be barely 45 minutes. Follies did mainly new-ish stuff with a few oldies thrown in the mix. I didn't recognize a lot of their stuff. They always put on an energetic show. I had seen D theater a long time ago but never got to see Follies. The heavy metal audience matched the older stuff and jamming they did. The 2 screens in the large pavilion and lawn area were good. The center graphics screen had still shots and didn't change much. The security and ticket lines were fast. Beer and shirts were expensive as expected. I did get someone helpful by dialing zero on Crickets web phone number the day of the show, as it had a recording of no shows that night. Hard to find much info on the website. Does anyone know why all the good, big shows are always between June and August in Arizona?"
